The Players

United Benefits Services (UBS) is a privately owned employee benefit consulting and brokerage firm, based in Newton, Massachusetts, and serving small to medium sized companies throughout the New Englad area.

The Synagogue Council of Massachusetts (SCM) is an umbrella non-profit organization that provides services to over 120 synagogues throughout Massachusetts.

Synagogues throughout New England are small non-profit organizations with typically fewer than 10 employees. Each provides its own employees with a range of benefits, including a health care insurance plan.

The Problem

Like most organizations, synagogues face increasing costs of the health plan coverage of their employees. SCM identified UBS as a suitable resource of health coverage planning and implementation for its member synagogues.

UBS and SCM faced the issue of convincing synagogue administrators to engage UBS their organizations' health care planning. Instead of proceeding to contact each of the 120 member synagogues individually, UBS and SCM engaged us to produce a Virtual Campaign, with the ultimate goal of persuading as many synagogue administrators to engage with UBS.

The Solution: Virtual Campaign

Virtual Tours Marketing (VTM) designed and produced a Virtual Campaign for UBS and SCM with the following goals:

  1. Persuading synagogue administrators typically leads to very high sign-up rates for UBS.

  2. Teaching all participants several fundamental techniques small organizations can use to reduce their health care plan costs.

The key elements of this Virtual Campaign were:

  • Paid Tele-Webinar: $54 for anyone, $36 for SCM members

  • Call To Action ("CTA"): Sign up for a free consultation with UBS

  • Duration: 60-75 minutes

  • Campaign Promotion: SCM and its partners

  • Experts: 3 senior staff members of UBS

Please read these Important Notes :

  1. When clicking on the link below, you will experience a portion of the campaign as if the tele-webinar were to happen in the future.

  2. You will be asked to ask a question on the topic, then to validate it.

  3. Once you validate it, you will be guided to the replay page. I this were the be held into the future, you'd be guided to a webcast page where you can return for the live participation.

  4. On the replay page, you can listen to the full recording of the tele-webinar by using the green flash player. It functions pretty much like a CD player with buttons for Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind and Fast Forward.

  5. On the same page, you can click on the big button to get the Tele-Webinar Action Guide and the resulting Presentation Mindmap.

  6. All participants received the Action Guide before the live event.

  7. After the event, we created a Presentation Mindmap that summarized the content of the audio presentation on one single page. While the audio (and the Action Guide) give you a linear rendition of the information, the mindmap gives you a non-linear, one-shot rendition of the same.
